Support low-income youth, adults and military veterans
SBCC's Career Pathway Program supports low-income youth, adults and military veterans to enter training programs that lead to high wage and high demand careers. Pathways include the Energy Pathway Program which trains individuals for high paying jobs in the energy sector such as process plant technician and instrument technician in the oil refineries, water treatment facilities, and pharmaceutical companies; the Urban Teacher Fellowship which supports at-risk young people to become teachers in low-income communities and work in afterschool programs while on the pathway; and the Promo Pathway which prepares individuals to write, produce and edit television promos.
